Dries to a tough, black coating, which does not flow under summer heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uses<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A general purpose waterproofing and damp-proofing coating, for use on concrete roofs, foundations &amp; retaining walls and over saturated felts.<\/li>\n<li>Resealing of existing roofs of mastic asphalt.<\/li>\n<li>Used as a primer where concrete surfaces are porous, before applying the modified bitumen membranes.<\/li>\n<li>Provides protection against corrosion for corrugated iron, lead, copper and zinc.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended where the threat of frost or rain precludes the use of an emulsion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Container:<\/strong><br \/>\nCan be supplied in 20 or 200 liter drum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Standards:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Complies with the requirements of ASTM D4479 Type I, ASTM D3019 Type I Grade I, and BS 3416 Type I Class A (Fast Drying) and Class B (Regular).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Specifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Approx. A wiper may be used when the surface is smooth and level.<\/li>\n<li>Apply each coat at a right angle to the previous coat at a rate of (0.55 ltr\/m\u00b2) for a reasonably smooth surface.<\/li>\n<li>Allow each coat to dry through before the application of a further coat.<\/li>\n<li>Where necessary reinforce with suitable fabric or glass fiber materials.<\/li>\n<li>The ultraviolet rays of sunlight destroy organic materials. It is, therefore, necessary to protect the coating by spreading on it a powder such as fine limestone while it is still wet.
